A father put his three year old daughter to bed,
Told her a story and listened to her prayers which she ended by saying
"God bless Mommy, God bless daddy, God bless grandma and good-bye grandpa."
The father asked, "Why did you say good-bye grandpa?"
The little girl said, "I don't know daddy, it just seemed like the thing to do."
The next day grandpa died.
The father thought it was a strange coincidence.
A few months later the father put the girl to bed and
listened to her prayers, which went like this:
"God bless Mommy, God Bless daddy and good-bye grandma."
The next day the grandmother died.
Oh my god, thought the father, this kid is in contact with the other side.
Several weeks later when the girl was going to bed the dad heard her say,
"God bless Mommy and good-bye daddy."
He practically went into shock.
He couldn't sleep all night and got up at the crack of dawn to go to his
office.
He was nervous as a cat all day, had lunch sent in and watched the clock.
He figured if he could get by until midnight he would be okay.
He felt safe in the office, so instead of going home at the end of the day
he stayed there,
looking at his watch and jumping at every sound.
Finally midnight arrived; he breathed a sigh of relief and went home.
When he got home his wife said
"I've never seen you work so late, what's the matter?"
He said "I don't want to talk about it, I've just spent the worst day of my
life."
She said "You think you had a bad day, you'll never believe what happened
HERE.
He asked "What"?????? :0
She said "This morning our neighbor James suddenly died."

Five (5) lessons about the way we treat people.
1 - First Important Lesson - Cleaning Lady.
During my second month of college, our professor gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions until I read the last one:
'What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?' Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the cleaning woman several times. She was tall, dark-haired and in her
50's, but how would I know her name?
I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank. Just before class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our quiz grade.
'Absolutely, ' said the professor. 'In your careers, you will meet many people. All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say 'hello..'
I've never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her name was Dorothy.
2. - Second Important Lesson - Pickup in the Rain
One night, at 11:30 p.m., an older African American woman was standing on the side of an Alabama highway trying to endure a lashing rain storm. Her car had broken down and she desperately needed a ride. Soaking wet, she decided to flag down the next car. A young white man stopped to help her, generally unheard of in those conflict-filled 1960's. The man took her to safety, helped her get assistance and put her into a taxicab.
She seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down his address and thanked him. Seven days went by and a knock came on the man's door. To his surprise, a giant console color TV was delivered to his home. A special note was attached.
It read: 'Thank you so much for assisting me on the highway the other night.
The rain drenched not only my clothes, but also my spirits. Then you came along. Because of you, I was able to make it to my dying husband's bedside just before he passed away... God bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving others.'

3 - Third Important Lesson - Always remember those who serve.
In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a 10-year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front of him.
'How much is an ice cream sundae?' he asked. 'Fifty cents,' replied the waitress.
The little boy pulled is hand out of his pocket and studied the coins in it. 'Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?' he inquired.
By now more people were waiting for a table and the waitress was growing impatient.
'Thirty-five cents,' she brusquely replied.
The little boy again counted his coins. 'I'll have the plain ice cream,' he said.
The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away. The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier and left. When the waitress came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the table. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were two nickels and five pennies.
You see, he couldn't have the sundae, because he had to have enough left to leave her a tip.
4 - Fourth Important Lesson. - The obstacle in Our Path.
In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way.
Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many of us never understand!
Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.
5 - Fifth Important Lesson - Giving when it Counts...
Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a hospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare & serious disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the little boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his sister.
I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying, 'Yes I'll do it if it will save her.' As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing the color returning to her cheek. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded.
He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, 'Will I start to die right away'.
Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to save her.

Most people walk in and out of your life......but FRIENDS leave footprints in your heart
Once upon a time there was a bunch of tiny frogs.... who arranged a running competition.
The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower.
A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants....
The race began....
Honestly:
No one in crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower.
You heard statements such as:
"Oh, WAY too difficult!!"
"They will NEVER make it to the top."
"Not a chance that they will succeed. The tower is too high!"
The tiny frogs began collapsing. One by one....
Except for those, who in a fresh tempo, were climbing higher and higher....
The crowd continued to yell, "It is too difficult!!! No one will make it!"
More tiny frogs got tired and gave up....
But ONE continued higher and higher and higher....
This one wouldn't give up!
At the end everyone else had given up climbing the tower. Except for the one tiny frog who, after a big effort, was the only one who reached the top!
THEN all of the other tiny frogs naturally want ed to know how this one frog managed to do it?
A contestant asked the tiny frog how he had found the strength to succeed and reach the goal?
It turned out....
That the winner was DEAF!!!!
The wisdom of this story is:
Never listen to other people's tendencies to be
negative or pessimistic.... because they take your most wonderful dreams and wishes away from you -- the ones you have in your heart!
Always think of the power words have.
Because everything you hear and read will affect your actions!
Therefore:
ALWAYS be....
POSITIVE!
And above all:
Be DEAF when people tell YOU that you cannot fulfill your dreams!
Always think:
God and I can do this!

Decision Making
A group of children were playing near two railway tracks, one still in
use while the other disused. Only one child played on the disused track,
the rest on the operational track. The train came, and you were just
beside the track interchange. You could make the train change its course
to the disused track and saved most of the kids.
However, that would also mean the lone child playing by the disused
track would be sacrificed. Or would you rather let the train go its way?
Let's take a pause to think what kind of decision we could
make................

Most people might choose to divert the course of the train, and
sacrifice only one child. You might think the same way, I guess.
Exactly, I thought the same way initially because to save most of the
children at the expense of only one child was rational decision most
people would make, morally and emotionally. But, have you ever thought
that the child choosing to play on the disused track had in fact made
the right decision to play at a safe place?
Nevertheless, he had to be sacrificed because of his ignorant friends
who chose to play where the danger was. This kind of dilemma happens
around us everyday. In the office, community, in politics and especially
in a democratic society, the minority is often sacrificed for the
interest of the majority, no matter how foolish or ignorant the majority
are, and how farsighted and knowledgeable the minority are. The child
who chose not to play with the rest on the operational track was
sidelined. And in the case he was sacrificed, no one would shed a tear
for him.
The friend who forwarded me the story said he would not try to change
the course of the train because he believed that the kids playing on the
operational track should have known very well that track was still in
use, and that they should have run away if they heard the train's
sirens. If the train was diverted, that lone child would definitely die
because he never thought the train could come over to that track!
Moreover, that track was not in use probably because it was not safe. If
the train was diverted to the track, we could put the lives of all
passengers on board at stake! And in your attempt to save a few kids by
sacrificing one child, you might end up sacrificing hundreds of people
to save these few kids. While we are all aware that life is full of
tough decisions that need to be made, we may not realize that hasty
decisions may not always be the right one.

popular isn't always right."
Everybody makes mistakes; that's why they put erasers on pencils.

Engineers Vs Doctors
Dear Friends.....ITS Superb Mail.....!!!!!
7 Engineers and 7 Doctors are going from PUNE to Mumbai.So both groups
gather at Pune Station.
Both groups are desperately trying to prove their superiority .
SCENE 1 (PUNE- MUMBAI):

Doctors are desperately waiting for TC to come......
When TC arrives,

NOW on return Journey All of them don't get a direct Train to PUNE. So
they
all decide to take a Passenger till Lonavala, from there they can easily
get a LOCAL to PUNE
SCENE 2 (MUMBAI - LONAVALA):

Doctors decided, "this time we will prove that we too are equal"....All

One engineer gets out and knocks the door of Doctors toilet, One hand

with the tickets, he takes the
ticket and comes in Engg. Bathroo! m... TC DRIVES out ALL the doctors
from
the toilet and they are heavily fined.

SO now both the group r on LONAVALA station. Doctors planning their move
for last chance, they board the local to Pune.
This time doctors decide that they will play the same (1 ticket) trick.

SO TC Comes.. All Engineers showed their tickets ............ .......

Doctors are still searching for toilet in the LOCAL train....... ....
Conclusion: Technically intelligent people are geniuses, don't mess with
Engineers.

Thankful that they had released him , the genie said, "Next to you all are 4 swimming pools, I will give each of you a wish. When you run towards the pool and jump, you shout what you want the pool of water to become, and then your wish will come true."
John ran towards the pool, jumped and shouted "Wine". The pool immediately changed into a pool of wine.John was ecstatic.

Just a Message
Once PVNR(PV Narasimha Rao), L.K.Advani and Laloo Prasad were travelling in an autorickshaw. They met with an accident and all three of them died.
Yama Raja was waiting this moment at the doorstep of death. He asks PVNR and Advani to go to Heaven. But, for Laloo, Yama had already decided that he should be sent to Hell.
Laloo is not at all happy with this decision.
He asks Yama as to why this discrimination is made. All three had served Public. Similarly all took Bribes, all misused public positins. Then why the difference in treatment????.
He felt that there shouls be a formal test before a decision is made. Yama agreed for the same.
All three appeared for an English test.
PVNR is asked to spell INDIA and he does it correctly.
Advani is asked to spell ENGLAND and he too passes.
It is Laloo's turn and he is asked to spell CZECHOSLOVAKIA.
Laloo protests that he do not know English and the questions were easy for the others than his.
Having been a student of History(which the other two were not), he now requested for all the three to be subjected to a test in History.
Yama says OK but this would be the last chance and he would not take any more tests.
PVNR is asked : When did India get Independence?. He replied '1947' and passed.
Advani is asked: How many people died during the Independence struggle?. He gets nervous. Yama asked him to choose from 3 options: 1,00,000 or 2,00,000 or 3,00,000.
Advani catches it and says 2,00,000 and passes.
It's Laloo's turn now.

"What's the difference?" Asked the puzzled father.
"There's a big difference," replied the little girl.
"If I hold your hand and something happens to me,chances are that I may let your hand go.
But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go."
In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind, but in its bond. So hold the hand of the person who loves you rather than expecting them to hold yours...
